McDade ISD Welcomes New Principal of McDade Elementary, Terry Reid!!!

A scholarship from Texas Performing Arts allowed McDade Theatre students to see the new Broadway touring musical “The Outsiders” today at the Bass Concert Hall in Austin. Based off the book that all students read in 8th grade, the classic book brought to life onstage was a memory we will always cherish. Special thanks to the Texas Performing Arts Donors who made our trip today possible!

Our staff is the real treat! Thank you for all the hard work, heart, and dedication you pour into our students every day. We couldn’t do it without you!

🏐 HISTORY MADE! 🏐 Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball Team on their win against Bartlett! With this victory, they’ve officially clinched a spot in the playoffs for the first time since entering 2A! Your hard work, heart, and hustle has paid off and we couldn’t be prouder! Let’s keep this momentum going. We would also like to thank the community and student section for showing up and keeping the atmosphere electric. See everyone at Bi District Playoffs!

Mcdade Elementary is gearing up for our Costume Parade on October 31st, and we’re kindly asking for your donations to make it a success!

We would greatly appreciate donations of treats for our teachers to hand out during the parade. 🎉 Feel free to drop off your donations at the front office. Every little bit helps to make this event fun and memorable for our students!

Every class that has 100% attendance on October 31st will earn a 30 minute recess and popsicles!

The McDade Band travelled to Giddings today for the UIL Region Marching Contest and earned a 1 from the judges!!

We will be advancing to Area Marching Contest this coming Saturday in Little-River Academy!
