The McDade FFA traveled to Texas State University today for a leadership development event inventational. The radio broadcating team placed first out of 16 teams! Congratulations to the radio broadcasting team and all the other teams on their hard work and dedication! Go Bulldogs!!

The shelter in place due to weather has been lifted.
As a precaution due to weather conditions McDade ISD is currently in a shelter in place lockdown. No students will be released from campus until the shelter in place is lifted.
On Monday Oct. 23rd, Summer Jacobs with her performance advanced to the UIL State Cross Country meet in Round Rock Friday, November 3rd, at Old Settler's Park. She finished in the top 4 of every race she has ran this season except for the Regional meet. She finished 4th at the first meet of the season and since then, she has two 2nd place finishes and one 3rd place finish. Summer is a member of the playoff bound varsity volleyball team as well. Help congratulate her on a tremendous season so far with one race to go. Good luck Summer!!
Our amazing band is headed to State competition in just 2 weeks. The Band Boosters has done an incredible job in supporting our students from the beginning. We are asking for additional help from families and the community to cover travel, lodging and meals. Any and all help is appreciated. ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

B.E.S.T. College Night Sign-Up --- We are organizing a McDade bus to take high school students to Bastrop and Elgin's college and career fair Wednesday 10/25/2023. Interested students need to talk to Mrs. Smith-Mott. We will leave the school at 6pm and return 8:30-8:45pm. You do not need to ride the bus to attend the college fair.

Elementary Red Ribbon Week Dress-up days start Monday.
On Monday 10/23/2023 the McDade FFA will begin fundraising "Fresh County". This is our first fundraiser of the year and you can purchase items such as fruits, desserts and meat products. We would love your support in raising funds for our chapter FFA. These funds help pay for entry fees and traveling costs for all FFA activities that we attend throughout the year.

The McDade FFA traveled to Praie View A&M for a Leadership Development Event today. We had an amazing and successful day for all teams that competed.
-Ag Advocacy placed 3rd out of 8 teams.
