Over the weekend some of the senior and junior McDade FFA students took part in the Bastrop County Jr. Livestock Show and Youth Fair in Elgin. The students have spent the last couple of months getting their livestock animals ready for the show, and countless hours preparing their youth fair projects for the competition. Thank you to everyone who joined the McDade ISD Board of Trustees in celebrating the accomplishments of our student groups this semester!
Don't forget - tomorrow evening the School Board will be recognizing students who participated in Fall extracurricular activities! The board meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the elementary cafeteria.
The McDade Ballet Folklorico will be participating in the Bastrop Christmas Lighted Parade. This is their first time, and they are so excited!!
