The McDade Bulldog Band participated in the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation held in Bastrop today. Your Bulldog band earned a 2 (excellent) rating on stage on a challenging program that pushed them to new levels. The music our band performed was on the same level that 4A schools are required to perform to give an idea of the difficulty. The band then participated in the sight reading room and earned unanimous 1st divisions (superior) from all 3 judges.
After performing, we enjoyed a nice meal at ChickFilA for a reward for the hard work put into this performance.
Make sure to hear our talented students in concert on May 8 in the McDade HS Gym. Thank you for your continued support of our students!

This is a reminder that McDade Secondary School’s second Attendance Recovery session is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025. Additionally, this session provides an important opportunity for seniors who have not yet completed their College Bridge course (CCMR) to work on this requirement.
We strongly encourage students to bring a sack lunch for the day.
