👀Secondary Campus Week at a Glance November 11-15 👀

Congratulations to Jessica Dube, who took home reserve grand this morning at the Liberty Hill Cattle Jackpot. Way to go, Jessica!

On Wednesday, November 13, students on the elementary and secondary campuses will participate in online testing. Students in grades 3, 6, 7, and 8 will be taking the TTAP assessment - an assessment developed by TEA to potentially replace the STAAR assessment. This is McDade's third year to participate in the pilot program. High school students in grades 9-12 will take the TSIA college-ready assessment. There is an English and Math section in the TSIA. Students will only take the part of the assessment they have not previously passed. All secondary testing students will need a charged Chromebook and charger on testing day. McDade FFA member Alexis Pacheco showed on Sunday, November 3 at the Houston calf scramble progress show. She placed 4th out of 9 heifers in her class! Way to go, Alexis...proud of you!!

Arts Award Recognition: The Bastrop County Cares program selected McDade ISD students Rebeca Solorio, Amy Martinez, Natilyn Baglioni, and Avalon Hallford as winners in the Bastrop County Local Food Fair art competition. Students submitted artwork at the end of last school year and will be honored at the event on November 10. Congratulations Students!
