*Doors Open at 7:15 AM for Breakfast

*Before Dropping off at school please make sure you have
registered on the Parent Portal!
* They will not be able to stay until enrolled/registered
(even returning students)

*When Checking in ALWAYS bring a Photo ID
(First Day you do not have to check in)

*NEW No Cellphone Policy

Please See The New Secondary Bell Schedule

Our New "WIN Time" is an Intervention Period – This will be at 8:37 AM - 9:10 AM Daily. Students in grades 7–10 are enrolled in a Bright Thinker course to help them master STAAR-tested subjects (Math, Reading/English, Social Studies). This is a great opportunity for small-group instruction and re-spiraling readiness TEKS. Students that Met or Mastered STAAR will be allowed to join a club later in the year.

Reminder! The Marching Band has done such a great job this last week that we will not be having the scheduled morning practice at 8am.

We will be having our Summer Band End-of-Camp party starting at 11am at the Watermelon Festival Fair Grounds. The event goes from 11am - 2pm and is not mandatory.

McDade ISD would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Builders FirstSource for their generous donation of lumber to our Agricultural Mechanics program. This contribution will have a lasting impact on our students, allowing them to continue building hands-on skills in carpentry, construction, and project design. These are real-world trade skills that our students can carry with them beyond the classroom—into future careers and life after graduation. With support from industry partners like Builders FirstSource, we are able to offer students meaningful opportunities to explore vocational pathways and develop confidence in their abilities. Thank you, Builders FirstSource, for investing in the future of McDade students and helping us continue to grow strong programs that build strong leaders.

A huge THANK YOU to all the Secondary Campus parents and students who joined us for Meet the Teacher night! 🤍✨ We had an incredible turnout, and it was so great to see so many familiar faces (and meet new ones, too!). The Varsity Volleyball vs. Faculty scrimmage was such a hit! What an awesome game! 🏐🔥 A special thanks to our wonderful staff for making the night so welcoming. We couldn’t do it without you! 🙌 We’re super excited to welcome all our students back for another amazing school year! 🎉📚 GO BULLDOGS!!! 🐾

Good evening Bulldog Families,

This is a friendly update to let you know our regular school board meeting date has moved to August 25. There will be a Public Hearing at 5:30 pm followed by our Regular Meeting at 6 pm. The meeting will be held in the elementary cafeteria. We are looking forward to seeing you all at open house tomorrow night!
